Lumibird Group
IN OCTOBER 2017, KEOPSYS, THE FIBER LASER COMPANY FOUNDED BY MARC LE FLOHIC IN LANNION (FRANCE) AND THE QUANTEL GROUP, SPECIALIZING IN SOLID-STATE LASERS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS, MERGED.
THE NEW GROUP CHANGES ITS NAME FROM MAY 17 2018, AND BECOMES THE LUMIBIRD GROUP.
This new group consists of two divisions:
– the Laser division, incorporating Keopsys, Quantel and SensUp, offers state-of-the-art lasers for industrial, defense, scientific and medical applications. Its products are based on 3 key technologies: fiber lasers, solid-state lasers and laser diodes.
– the Quantel Medical division, which mainly offers diagnostic and treatment equipment for ophthalmology based on lasers and ultrasonic sensors.
As a subsidiary of Lumibird Group, we benefit from the technological know-how, manufacturing capabilities and high-quality supply of lasers of our sister companies. We are also supported by a strong network of institutions and knowledge clusters in the development of our products.
